An interim report identifying issues emerging from the Hotel Quarantine Inquiry prior to the delivery of the final report and makes recommendations for a Quarantine Program in Victoria as the Victorian Government considers re-opening to international arrivals.

A report into the results of Victoria’s State-level emergency risk assessment completed in November 2017 with updated information about Victoria’s significant emergency related risks, including a comparison of their severity, and the institutional arrangements in place to manage these risks.

A report into to the capacity and fitness for purpose of Victoria's contact tracing system and testing regime, it found that the use of manual data entry processes at the beginning of the pandemic was not fit to deal with any escalation of cases and led to significant error. The report recommended enhancing the public health system towards a more decentralised, community-based approach.

A review of engagement programs of Victoria’s two volunteer based statutory bodies, CFA and VICSES, that take a lead role in preparing communities for bushfires, floods and storms. The report makes three recommendations related to improving sector connections with communities to enhance preparedness and resilience for major emergencies.

The culmination of the Commission’s work, the final report describes and analyses the bushfires of January–February 2009 and makes 57 recommendations about changes needed to reduce the risk, and the consequences, of similar disasters in the future. It also describes how the Commission went about its task. The final report consists of four volumes, and together with the Commission's interim reports, should be considered one body of work.

A review of systems and processes for issuing information and warnings following the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission. The findings highlighted that further work was required to address capability, capacity and management of information within Incident Management Teams, systems for disseminating warning, timeliness of warnings and the lack of a framework for evaluating the total warning system.

An examination of aspects of flood response and recovery, emergency warnings and evacuations following the 2010-11 floods. The findings of this review helped guide the government’s response and planning to ensure Victoria is better equipped to deal with similarly severe flooding events in the future.

A review of a grassfire on the west side of Broadmeadows Valley Park that passed under power transmission lines. The review sought to identify and evaluate compliance with relevant standard and to identify learnings or issues that MFB and support agencies could further explore relating to vegetative fires in urban environments.
