Assurance in Emergency Management provides easy access to more than 200 published assurance reports (issued since the 2009 Victorian Bushfires) and draws together high-level summaries of assurance activities conducted by different sector organisations and external bodies.
This new resource will also provide a valuable starting point for sector personnel and community members alike, in gaining an understanding of Victoria’s priority emergency risks, and the associated reviews and inquiries influencing the state’s better emergency management practices.
Additionally, the resource supports the sharing of successes and opportunities across the sector which is so valuable in fostering continuous improvement of the emergency management system before, during and after emergencies.
