Our legislative functions include monitoring the implementation of recommendations from specific reviews and inquiries.
This helps to make sure that emergency management organisations are putting agreed changes or improvements from past reviews and inquiries in place. And, that the changes are actually making our communities safer.
What's the implementation tracker for?
We've introduced an online implementation tracker to show the most recent, published update on actions responding to recommendations from:
- Review of 10 years of reform in Victoria's emergency management sector
- Inquiry into the 2019–20 Victorian Fire Season - Phase 1
Using the tracker
You can use the tracker to find and filter over 130 actions by:
- report name
- recommendation theme
- status - closed, complete, in progress, yet to commence
- lead agency or agencies
There's also a keyword search.
We're providing this tracker as an option to reading our latest implementation progress report (External link).
We'll update the tracker as further progress reports are published.
