The 2013–14 Fire Season Compliance Report - 2016 Final Progress Update is the final of three annual progress reports on the implementation status of actions and recommendations relating to improvements to road traffic management, community involvement, initial attack and utilisation of resources, cross-border fire arrangements and other systemic issues.
This report concludes IGEM's dedicated reporting of the improvements implemented in response to the 2013-14 fire season, as all 86 actions and 10 recommendations are now complete or ongoing as core business for the relevant organisations.
Using its broader monitoring program and relevant organisations' continuous improvement processes, IGEM will ensure that lessons identified from that fire season continue to enhance Victoria’s emergency management arrangements.
The 2013–14 Fire Season Compliance Report - 2016 Final Progress Update was published on 23 September 2016.
